David Taylor


David Taylor is a landscape and travel photographer, based in Hexham, Northumberland. His interest in landscape photography began at an early age, and grew out of an enjoyment for being outdoors.

Working extensively with the Northumberland National Park, David has provided images for its promotional and marketing materials. He is a regular contributor to 'Beautiful Britain' and 'North East Life', and has supplied photography for numerous other magazines, including 'Outdoor Photography','Digital Photographer','History Today' and 'Trail Magazine'.

David's first book - 'Northumberland Illuminated' - was published in October 2009. Later this year will see the publication of a series of four books on Northern Ireland, along with two 'Expanded Guides' for Ammonite on Sony's latest Alpha DSLRs.

David thoroughly enjoys communicating his enthusiasm for photography with others. His gentle, patient and good-humoured approach ensures a relaxed and stimulating atmosphere for his workshops,and photographers at any level will find them fruitful and rewarding.
