Inversnaid Lodge stands in a secluded, elevated position overlooking Loch Lomond and the spectacular mountains beyond. Originally built in 1790 as the Duke of Montrose's hunting lodge, it has been tastefully restored to provide comfortable accommodation for 12 guests in single, twin and double bedrooms. All rooms have en-suite shower, WC and handbasin and tea/coffee facilities. There is a sitting room for guests' use, drying facilities, bar licence and fire certificate. The Lodge is surrounded by extensive woodland and rhododendron gardens and 50 acres of hill land, adjacent to the RSPB nature reserve.

Evening Meals are sometimes available but only by prior arrangement.

Packed Lunches can be provided by prior arrangement and flasks filled. Crisps, chocolate or cereal bars, fruit juice and mineral water are usually available for sale.

Payment can be made by cash, UK cheque (up to value of accompanying cheque guarantee card),or Sterling travellers' cheques. We are unable to accept credit cards. Foreign visitors are strongly advised to obtain sufficient of the above to cover the whole of the West Highland Way as, with the exception of Crianlarich/Tyndrum, where limited exchange facilities exist, there are no banks along the Way and small establishments may not accept credit cards.
